Photomicrography

On this page you can see several (macro and micro) photographs taken of gemstone inclusions. All of them have been taken with a Zeiss Stemi 2000c Microscope, Eickhorst Gemmaster LED Base and a Nikon G12 camera with Zeiss Adapter.

The photographs you can see here are of several types of inclusions found in diamonds and gemstones, and some common damages. These pictures are used to identify possible treatments as well as to determine a possible geographic origin and of course for Gem-ID purposes.
